Under this program of the government, about 4546 Union Digital Centers have been established across the country with direct and indirect support, through which it has been possible to ensure information technology services to the people of rural areas.
Besides, establishment of district e-service center in the office of the deputy commissioner, issuance of online khatian (pamphlets), introduction of multimedia classrooms, introduction of e-purji in sugar mills, creation of national information window, mobile court management system, service kunj, railway mobile ticketing, online Hajj management etc.
The process is underway to bring people to their doorsteps.

To facilitate this service, Bangladesh Tea Board has taken initiative to facilitate tea information and technology services through mobile apps called Two Leaves One Bud.Tea e data repositoryAs there is no online or offline e-data repository for tea statistics, information and technology, tea related persons have to come to the Tea Board, PDU and BTRI offices from remote areas to know the various information and technical problems of the tea garden and their solutions.
This makes it difficult to get accurate information services quickly and at the right time and disrupts tea production.
To solve this problem, an innovation idea was initiated to facilitate tea information and technology services using a mobile app called Two Leaves One Bud.
Later, a database of statistical information of all tea gardens was created and included in the apps for creating mobile apps called Two Leaves One Bud and the history of tea, Bangabandhu and tea industry, tea cultivation methods, soil management, improved varieties and high yielding clones, insects.
And disease control techniques, tea processing, benefits of drinking tea, etc., including pictures, videos are included in the proposed apps.Result of innovation:Before implementing the idea, it would take 14-15 days for the tea garden authorities or tea growers to get the relevant services and it would cost Rs.
1200 / -.
But as a result of the implementation of the idea, the expected benefit of the service recipient is that it will save 13-14 days to get the relevant service, will save 1200 / - cost and will not require any travel.ConclusionUsing apps as smart mobile sets, people from any part of the country will be able to get all the information related to tea online / offline at home.
Tea garden owners, managers, co-managers, small tea farmers, tilababu, workers and tea information thirsty people will get solutions to various tea related problems through their own mobile sets.
Tea related individuals will be able to know the method of tea cultivation, tea insect and disease control techniques while sitting in the garden and will be able to solve the problem.
Above all, time will be saved and the client will not need any money and travel.
Timely desired service will be ensured.
Using accurate information in a timely manner will increase tea production and contribute to the national economy.
